Government Employees (Urban) Co-op. Thrift & Credit Society Ltd. has been fully computerised. Every staff of the society has computer to work on. Computer network has been set.
The Society has set up a Client/Server architecture. It is a network architecture in which each computer on the network is either a client or a server. Servers are powerful computers dedicated to managing disk drives (file servers), printers (print servers), or network traffic (network servers ). Clients are PCs or workstations on which users run applications. Clients rely on servers for resources, such as files, devices, and even processing power.
The Society's software FinCop works on Client/Server network where staff works on the client computer and data is saved in the Server.
The Society has installed a powerful HP Server for data storage and data safety purpose.
The Society has passbook printer and passbook printing software.
